AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season
In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.
The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer ends with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
